The brownie came first for a boring, practical reason: it is the fastest thing in this kitchen to test. One tray, one timing window, one set of variables to tune. It let us get the texture right before touching anything more complicated.
It was never going to be the whole plan.
Cookies are next in the notebook
The cookie trials have been running quietly alongside the brownie ones. Same question, different shape: how do you get a crackly edge and a soft middle without the two fighting each other. We are close.
Then, cakes, properly
Cakes are the reason this started. A doctor who bakes cakes for birthdays and celebrations needed a way to take custom orders without a spreadsheet and a dozen back-and-forth messages. The guided builder for that is being designed right alongside the storefront itself, not bolted on afterward.
Seasonal bakes, when the season is right
Some things only make sense for a few weeks a year. We would rather wait for the right ingredients than force a seasonal item onto the menu in the wrong month.
None of this changes what is live today. The brownie customizer and the waiting list are still the only way in. Everything else joins when it is ready, not before.
